Renovation and protection of historic buildings: Westhof in Munich
Space in which to live and work on historic ground
We are developing urgently needed space in which to live and work in the listed Westhof (west courtyard) of the former imperial post office in Munich. The charm of the historic building on Deroystraße will be preserved. The Westhof is one of the last fully preserved examples of the modernist post offices built in the 1920s. Once energy efficiency has been improved and remodeling completed, 20 rental apartments as well as office units with approximately 540 square meters of space will be created in the north wing at the corner of Tillystraße. In addition, attractive office units boasting approximately 2,300 square meters of space are planned for the south wing at the corner of Arnulfstraße.
The location near Munich's main train station, between Hackerbrücke and Donnersbergerbrücke, means that the site is easily accessible by both public and private transport and has an excellent infrastructure in the immediate vicinity. Unlike many property developers, we do not sell every property once it has been completed but instead often maintain our presence on the site as property manager.
